In Lviv, a new center for Gareta's prostheses and fitting will be opened for military and civilian amputees where they will prepare state-of-the-art prostheses, learn how to use them, perform physical rehabilitation and help them return to everyday life. The center will also work with complex cases, including high and double amputations. Since the beginning of the full-scale war in the Lviv region, almost 4,000 people have received prostheses, the head of this, Maxim Kozytsky, reported. Gareta became the third center of the network after Ternopil and Vinnytsia.
Opening a new institution will help shorten the queues for prostheses and expand accessibility to rehabilitation. Ukraine online.
