Delegations of Russian and Ukrainian officials, including human rights chiefs from both countries, are due to meet with US first lady Melania Trump at the White House on Thursday ahead of talks in Abu Dhabi aimed at ending the Ukraine war. It comes weeks after Melania Trump helped broker a partial ceasefire that allowed civilians to be evacuated from the Russian-occupied Ukrainian town of Olshki.
