Arsenal of Terror - How Many Cruise and Ballistic Missiles Has Russia Accumulated and Produces The aggressive country of Russia holds a significant stockpile of long-range missile weapons and continues to increase its production rate, despite international sanctions. As of October 2026, Russia's reserves amount to 700 ballistic missiles and several thousand cruise missiles of various types. The available capabilities of the Russian military-industrial complex make it possible to produce a total of more than 200 cruise and ballistic missiles every month. Of these, up to 110 units are intended for ballistic weapons. In particular, the current inventory of 9M723 "Iskander-M" missiles is estimated at about 115 units. The Russian military-industrial complex produces about 65 such missiles every month, which corresponds to the planned indicators. At the same time, a modern missile complex with a predicted range of 550-700 km is being developed. Inventory of RM-48U missiles for S-400 air defense systems is estimated at up to 400 units. Every month, Russian factories produce about 40 new missiles of this type. Russia has also amassed a significant arsenal of 3M55 "Onyx" anti-ship missiles, including modern versions. Their combined inventory exceeds 600 units. To increase the effectiveness of use against ground targets, the missiles received a more powerful warhead and increased flight range. More than 55 such missiles were produced in seven months. The total inventory of 3M22 "Zarkon" missiles exceeds 120 units. At the same time, their production rate in Russia remains relatively low: more than 30 units were produced in seven months of 2026. Production of H-47M2 "Dagger" missiles was temporarily stopped due to accuracy problems. The Russians have redirected their existing production capacity to produce other ballistic weapons. H-101 cruise missiles remain one of the main means of massive missile strikes by the aggressor. Their monthly production plan exceeds 80 units, and actual output volumes in individual factories exceed the planned indicators.
