Ideological war does not mean standing with the Shiites anytime and anywhere, nor supporting any party just because it carries our sectarian identity, regardless of the nature of the war it is waging. In essence, wars are not a conflict of identities and sects as much as they are a conflict of right and wrong, and I cannot stand against a Shiite who is waging an illegal war, just because he is a Shiite, just as I cannot abandon a just cause just because its owners are ideologically different from me. Some people think that my ideological affiliation means that I am willing to fight alongside any Shia party in any battle, and this is a completely wrong understanding. I am ready to confront Azerbaijan, even though it is a country with a Shiite majority, as long as its position and policies make it a basis for the service of the Israeli project. In return, I am ready to support Palestinian Gaza and stand by its residents despite the ideological difference. The criterion from which I proceed is not the identity of the party or its name, but the nature of the issue for which it is fighting and its position in terms of right and wrong.
