️🇺🇸🇮🇷 Al Jazeera: Oil prices fell for the fourth day in a row amid expectations that Republican losses in the US midterms could reduce the risk of further escalation against Iran.
Brent crude was down 0.85% at $93.75 a barrel, while US WTI was down 1.36% at $86.82 by 0500 GMT. Both indexes fell more than 8% in the previous session, hitting their lowest levels since August 31.
The decline reflects expectations that a Democratic-controlled Congress could limit Trump's military options and increase pressure for a deal with Tehran.
