The New York Times is now reporting that Alice Huang, the Chinese businesswoman who developed a close relationship with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, was recruited by China's Ministry of State Security (MSS) to gather intelligence on him and influence Nvidia to support greater access to advanced American AI chips in China. The chairmen of three House committees have requested that Jensen Huang appear at a closed-door briefing on November 18 to explain his relationship with Alice Huang and Nvidias Chinese anti-spyware security measures.
