15 children between the ages of one and six were given psychedelic candy during Halloween in the United States. The incident took place in San Diego, Newsweek reports. On October 31, in one of the houses, bags of sweets were distributed to the children. Parents noticed the unusual packaging and suggested that the sweets may contain banned substances. The analysis confirmed the presence of psilocybin in the composition.
