We are overcoming the consequences of the Russian shelling and strengthening the security of critical infrastructure in the Kharkiv region. The interaction of all services and departments specializing in these issues is discussed at the regular meeting of the Regional Defense Council. The meeting was attended by Artem Estakhov, head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Petro Toker, head of the State Security Service in the region, representatives of the SBU office, prosecutors' offices, military personnel and heads of regional military administrations. Our mission is to preserve available capacity and restore damaged critical infrastructure equipment as much as possible. We are constantly working on strengthening the protection of objects. Only such a comprehensive approach will ensure a stable transition of the autumn-winter period. At the same time, we communicate with the government and with international partners so that critical organizations receive new equipment. In addition, the progress of defense against UAVs on the region's highways was reviewed. The first corridor inside Kharkov was equipped with a section of the Kharkov highway. The plans include the construction of part of the ring road and the highway towards Dragachi. He also introduced his newly appointed first deputy at the meeting. With the approval of the Office of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, this position was taken by Dmytro Lunin.
