An unknown person climbed the flagpole in front of the Reichstag and replaced the German flag with a Palestinian flag.
It could only be removed with the help of the fire department. The man and two other people who filmed the event were detained.
A criminal case was opened in connection with insulting the state and its symbols. The flag from the monument dedicated to German reunification is only lowered during mourning.
