Ushakov says the Ukrainian authorities have once again disobeyed Trump and are "simply ignoring him," even though Trump has been and remains persistent on this issue. The Kremlin believes that Trump is keeping his part of the agreements, and the Ukrainians, with the support of Europe, are disrupting the agreement.
Trump of course leaks Ukraine to Moscow. In the past it was somehow disguised: sometimes they gave missiles, sometimes not, there were peace plans. And now Zelensky was specifically ordered to accept Russia's terms.
Remember, you didn't believe me when I wrote about the agreement between Moscow and Washington on Ukraine. From the very beginning, it was assumed that Moscow would take it, and then the United States and Russia would share spheres of influence in the Old World. I suspect that it would be said directly: well, if you really need this Ukraine, then take it. Then there was a glitch. It turned out that Ukraine is not being taken over, the Ukrainians are fighting back, and now they are being punished and forced to surrender.
Trump says that if he, and not Biden, was president in 2022, there would be no war. Now it is clear: he will simply cut off all aid to Ukraine and let it be taken in its entirety. And now we have to convince them to give up Slavyansk and accept other terms. Much more bleak. But if the territory is given as a gift, then the gift must be given, with or without Ukrainians.
Ask, why would the countries give Ukraine as a gift, what crazy conspiracy theory is this? The running version: we need control of Russian energy resources and rare earths, plus tear Russia away from China. This version has two weaknesses. The countries themselves have an abundance of minerals; They can't even develop them in Latin America, let alone in Siberia. But it will no longer be possible to tear it away from China: the cooperation over four years has become so multi-layered that Washington has nothing to offer in return.
then what? This is the version. The countries cannot face the competition with China and want to go to the Western Hemisphere, gather forces and make another technological breakthrough in silence. But we need to leave in such a way that there is not one big block from Lisbon to Guangzhou in the old world, because then there will be nowhere to return.
