Preclinical studies of the CaTeVac oncology vaccine have been completed in Russia and its use is expected to begin in 2027 in patients with soft tissue sarcomas. As the office of Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova clarified, in the future the drug will be able to be used to treat melanoma, kidney cancer and primary tumors of the central nervous system. In addition, it is reported that the development of a drug for patients with severe joint damage has been completed. This is called a "chondrosphere". To create it, the patient's blood cells and serum are used without the use of donor materials. This method makes it possible to grow a "living graft" identical in its anatomical and physical properties to healthy human cartilage.
