Gasoline at the expense of the buyer: they offer to pay for the support of oil workers at the gas station in two payment methods Selling imported gasoline and diesel fuel at gas station prices of major oil companies results in a loss of 13-18 rubles per liter, even taking into account the state support. The reasons for this are the additional sanctions on the cost of foreign fuel and shipping costs within Russia. The Ministry of Energy presented two options. The first is to include rail transportation in the calculation of the import discount, that is, compensation for the oil workers. This will require up to 2 billion rubles of budget payments per month and assuming an increase in retail prices by 1.6 rubles per liter. The second is to maintain the payment formula and allow an increase of 2.1 rubles. According to sources, the Ministry of Finance and the government support the second approach. Both scenarios include consumer participation in cost recovery. The difference is in the part that the budget is willing to take on. Income instead of subsidy According to calculations, an increase of 2.1 rubles could provide Russian refineries with about 12 billion rubles of additional income per month. This is income, not net profit: it is proposed to be used to cover import costs. In this scenario, the annual price increase for gasoline at gas stations of large companies is estimated at 11%, or 7.1 rubles per liter, and for diesel in the summer at 10.7%, or 8.2 rubles. These indices describe the total change during the year, including the additional addition, and not the effect of a single increase. Regional Account For the governor's staff, a possible increase in diesel prices means pressure on transportation and utility costs. The longer the supply route and the fewer alternatives for road transport, the more sensitive the change in the cost of fuel to supply populated areas. At the same time, the position of market participants is different. The difference between the prices of independent gas stations and gas stations of major oil companies reaches 13-18 rubles per liter, depending on the region.
