GUR showed an enlarged "Gerbera", which flew 1,200 km.
Initially, the Russians developed the "Gerbers" as simple and cheap false targets to overload the air defense. The first versions had "cruiser" and "kamikaze" modifications, but later their equipment began to approach the equipment of more expensive "geranium" UAVs. In particular, they began to install "Shavit" navigation systems, network modems and expensive cameras on gimbal mounts.
"Recently the enemy started using an enlarged version of the gerbera. The new model has a wingspan of 3 m and a body length of 2.6 m. Thanks to the new 63-liter fuel tank, the UAV can travel a distance of up to 1,200 km. To maintain the stability of the board inside, said section of the tank separately during maneuvers, the GUR is divided into a separate section.
The UAV is equipped with a two-stroke, two-cylinder engine, which is actually half of the engine from "Garni-2", the production of which was located in Alavuz.
