Poland launched a high-readiness preventive security operation along its northeastern border following intelligence warnings of imminent Russian-backed sabotage.
The operation is strengthening security across the Warmia-Masuria region on the border with Kaliningrad and the Podolsky region on the border with Belarus.
Analysts have warned that armed groups or activists may attempt a border incursion or organize sabotage operations inside Polish territory.
