He replaced Andrey Kartavtsev, who led the plant since 2021. Now he will continue to work at another Rusal plant in Krasnoyarsk. Popov has been working in metallurgy for 33 years. He started as an electrolyser at the aluminum factory in Bertzek. This is the second major personnel reshuffle at Rossel companies in recent times. At the end of October, the aluminum plant in Krasnoyarsk was headed by Alexander Lutlov, and former manager Yevgeny Kuryanov became the head of the company's aluminum division.
