100+ missiles, lasers and swarms of drones at the Euronaval 2026 exhibition, the French Navy Group presented the concept of the promising SCX26 destroyer. - Up to 96+ vertical launch cells (VLC) for Aster 30 missile defense systems and MdCN cruise missiles. - Electromagnetic cannon (rail gun), 100 kW combat laser, 57 mm artillery and two wall launchers for close combat.
- Below deck there is a large-scale hangar complex for UAVs, surface and underwater UAVs. On board there are 3D printers for printing spare parts and workshops. On paper and the presentation looks very cool, but the French army itself is far from being able to implement such technologies in huge projects.
