Gaza Ministry: Tents fly in strong winds due to light weight and weak anchoring in sand The Ministry of Labor and Housing stated that fiber tents enter in very small quantities through some international organizations, because they are considered better than canvas tents in light of the lack of other options. Temporary housing units, or trailers, are the real and best alternative until rebuilding begins. Tents lose their balance on wet sandy ground without solid concrete bases when gusts of wind increase.
