Dear subscribers! My colleagues, regional human rights commissioners, continue to work on rights violations identified as a result of monitoring the media and social networks. I share new results: in Novosibirsk, residents opposed the development of an urban forest plot in the Kalininsky district. The commissioner for human rights in the Novosibirsk region, Elena Tsarnaeva, sent a request to the prosecutor's office with a request to conduct an investigation. It turned out that a plot of land with an area of 2.4 dunams was fenced off and began to be ready for construction without the necessary ownership documents. The prosecutor presented to the mayor, responsible officials and the head of the organization were warned. The decision to change the territorial area of the site was postponed. The human rights commissioner of the Astrakhan region Andrey Spitzin learned from the media about a woman who could not get medicine for a serious illness. My colleague took control of the situation. On October 21, the patient was admitted to the hematology department, the necessary medicine was purchased and administration began that day. In the Vladimir region, after an accident, a resident of the village of Igumanovo, Kobrovsky District, found himself bedridden and in need of constant care. He was denied social assistance because he did not belong to the established categories of recipients. The commissioner for human rights in the Vladimir region, Lyudmila Romanova, contacted the regional office for social protection. Now the man is helped several times a week by a social worker. He was also provided with a walker, a wheelchair and basic supplies. I thank my colleagues for their insistence, attention to citizens' problems and consistent work to restore violated rights.
