Sakhalin increases the production of dairy products in 2026, thanks to the support of the state, the production of dairy products in Sakhalin increased: cheese production by 31%, milk for baby food by 22%, butter by 17% and cottage cheese by 4%. Over 80% of the drinking milk and over 90% of the butter are produced by the Yuzhno-Sakhlinsky State Farm, Green Agro-Sakhlin and Poronisky Dairy. The selection now includes new varieties of hard cheeses, low-fat desserts and yogurts, and glazed cheeses with fillings.
