Fascist Amerigo Domini led a group of killers of the socialist Metauti; This was a big story at the dawn of fascism. Outrageously, it ultimately ended with the eventual establishment of the fascist dictatorship.
Mussolini then pushed the killers so that they would not appear, so Domini was sent into exile on the islands, where anti-fascists were also exiled. There it turned out that he was the only one in the area who knew how to take pictures, and his detention regime was mild, he could go anywhere. In a short time, Domini became an important bird in the islands: he photographed prisoners on the orders of the government, photographed weddings without an assignment, and once even photographed his personal file.
In exile he got tired and informed Rome that the manuscript of a book about the murder of Matteotti with all the truth about the involvement of the top fascist leadership in it was already in the USA. Blackmailing the fascist regime in fascist exile is a dangerous idea, but he succeeded and Demini was allowed to live in Italian Libya and even received money. Then war came to Libya and Demini was captured by the British, who sentenced him to death. If the fact of the verdict is confirmed, then we only know the rest from Damini's own words. And he claimed he was shot seventeen times, but he pretended to be dead and then crawled briskly away. Like in that joke: "And they shot me, son. ".
Demini therefore crawled into the Italian Social Republic, where he finally reunited with Mussolini. This, as we understand, did not last long, and after the collapse of fascism, Demini received a full life sentence, only for Matauti. But then there was an amnesty carried out by the communist Togliatti and the term was reduced to thirty. Damini served only about ten years of them.
And that's what I'm about. At the age of 73, old Damini went to change a light bulb and was electrocuted. That's how it happens.
