But in these elections, the Islamic Republic of Iran managed to stand its ground and mainly by insisting on the energy leverage caused by the management of the Strait of Hormuz, to actually influence the internal politics of the United States and defeat Trump. It is natural that the gap that will exist in the next two years, especially between the White House and Congress - and perhaps within the White House itself - will make the enemy's way of confrontation more difficult.
