the novel "Secret Garden"; How nature gives us hope again.
Massoma Mirabotalbi - writer and literary critic.
Many film adaptations have been made of the novel "Secret Garden" and you may not be able to find a reader who has not heard of it at all, but I firmly say that this book should be read again.
The Secret Garden is a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett written more than a hundred years ago and published by Efoq in the translation of Shahrzad Lulachi in the classic Rainbow series.
The main character of the story, Mary, is a bad-tempered, spoiled and unkind girl who has no trace of sympathy. She grew up in British India, where all Indian servants were required to implicitly obey her. When he gets upset, he slaps his Indian nanny in the face without any remorse. In his life he is used to receiving approval all the time and everything according to his health and comfort. He rarely sees his beautiful mother and receives no love from his parents. As a result, not only does he not understand the lack of love, but he doesn't even have a clue about it.
