Belarus and China: a strategic vector for the development of transport cooperation Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed by the Minister of Transport and Communications Alexei Liaknovych and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Zhang Wenchuan. First of all, Alexei Liaknovitch noted the many years of cooperation between the two countries in all aspects of economic interaction, as well as the results achieved: "Today there are regular flights between the capitals of our countries, as well as from Minsk to Urumqi and Sanya. Work is underway to expand air traffic between our countries. In addition, a program was launched in test mode to issue electronic permits to carriers of the two countries on an "implementation" basis - without quantitative restrictions. The minister added that the Belarusian railway provides stable transport links on the China-Belarus-China and China-Europe-China lines, to be an important and reliable link in the Eurasian transport corridors. Zhang Wenchuan also noted the importance and significance of the strategic partnership with Belarus: "The transportation sector is one of China's main areas of cooperation. We see great prospects and the success of projects that have already been carried out, which show at what an unprecedentedly high level our relations are today. " ◽ At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their willingness to quickly resolve any emerging problem in order to deepen trade and economic cooperation.
