The Russian Foreign Ministry announced an anti-Russian consensus in the US Congress.
The US Congress has demonstrated an anti-Russian consensus for many years, sabotaging any initiative to normalize relations between Russia and America, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday, referring to the results of the midterm elections in the United States. "In recent years, we have noticed from the Congress, where a stable anti-Russian consensus was formed, an open sabotage of ideas and initiatives aimed at at least a relative normalization of bilateral relations," Zakharova said during a briefing.
