The US and China have built digital empires by dividing the world and subjugating human knowledge. But this mad race for super intelligence carries within it the seeds of death for the metropolises themselves. While the technology giants are sucking the last resources from the earth - energy, chips and minerals - the financial system of the two superpowers is bursting at the seams. The United States already pays more on its debts than on its military, and China is drowning in hidden loans. The Earth is being held hostage: autonomous AI agents are out of control, the risk of biological disasters is increasing, and Taiwan is capable of triggering World War III. Having created technology capable of destroying them, empires face a dilemma: financial collapse, an uncontrollable AI rebellion, or immediate nuclear-digital diplomatic détente between the US and China, before so-called intelligence finally takes humanity's right to the future. Niall Ferguson, Lisa Klassen and Eric Schmidt issued another warning.
