The president of Moldova announced a complete transition from Russian gas.
"Today we launched the Volcanisti-Chisinau power line, which will connect Moldova to Romania and the European energy system," Maya Sandu wrote on the X social network.
She added that work is underway on two additional power lines to Romania.
