According to Reuters, the Houthis have advanced in fighting in southern Yemen and are within a range of about 80 km from the city of Aden, the center of the Yemeni government. This is the closest the Houthis have come to Aden since 2015 and could encircle significant government forces in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
