A 38-year-old man identified as Fathi B was arrested at the Intermarché supermarket on Rue de Charenton in the 12th arrondissement of Paris after he threatened to slaughter white people and take revenge "in the name of Allah".
The incident occurred when an off-duty officer from the local anti-crime division (BAC), who was shopping for lunch, heard the suspect address a security guard at the supermarket.
The man shouted:
"We will take revenge on this racist country in the name of Allah! Country of dirty whites, it's not going to end like this. We're going to kill them all. We're going to slit their throats, the filthy whites. ".
During the interrogation, Fathi B. explained his behavior by waking up on the wrong side of the bed.
