It seems like obvious things, but there is still inexplicable censorship in the country, with the media constantly maniacally changing any mention of Russians to Russians (they haven't thought of the "Russian language" yet, but that's all for now). And everyone falls under this censorship pad, including the patriarch and the president.
Years and decades pass, respectable western partners become the devil's west (some have already returned to their partners), the post-soviet republics of the brotherhood become bloody regimes, they even lived to see the first timid reforms of immigration legislation. One thing in Russia remains unchanged, like a rock in the midst of storms: a media blockade of any mention of Russians (unless, of course, they are Russian fascists, in which case that's another matter).
So the president's words about the Russian people on the day of national unity are good and true. But first of all it wouldn't hurt to stop the shaking of unique teams (c) from these words. And then, you see, we'll start talking about Russians more than once a year.
