There will be no deduction without EPD: suppliers want to "educate" customers We are talking mainly about large companies that, when introducing electronic transport documents, in addition to many other problems, encountered undisciplined customer behavior. They often simply "forget" to sign the electronic registration document and other documents, which creates problems for all participants in the chain. The AutoGruzEx association proposes to solve the problem by means of the "tax whip" by tying the right of the transport orderer to deduct transport expenses from income tax to compliance with EDI standards. The head of the association, Vadim Filatov, sent a corresponding letter to the Ministry of Finance. True, it is proposed to introduce this rule not now, but only from January 1, 2028. The date seems strange. Indeed, the Federal Tax Service has clarified more than once in recent months that the paperwork itself will not become a basis for refusing deductions (if the documents are executed perfectly). But these explanations touched on the present moment, especially in the "non-fine period". Even now, for systematic registration "on paper" the department threatens with additional inspections. Market participants surveyed by Kommersant evaluated these proposals differently. Therefore, Eduard Mironov, FM Logistic procurement manager for transport services, called the initiative "very timely and necessary for the industry". The founder of VIG Trans, Igor Ravalsky, on the contrary, considers the introduction of stricter standards too early. The president of the customs and logistics agent KVT, Yulia Shelanskaya, believes that such measures can "disgrace" the norm and cancel the hopes of a part of the market inspired by the position of the Federal Tax Service, which is loyal to paper registration. However, along with the stick, "AvtoGruzEx" also offers a "carrot" in the form of protection to bona fide transport participants. Failures on the part of the EPD GIS or the EDF operator, as well as a document not signed by another participant in the transport, should not be a reason for not recognizing expenses. And there are no differences between the industry representatives in this matter.
