🔶 4 dead and 11 injured in the recent weather events in Iran.
Referring to the recent weather events in the country, Mojtaba Lashgari, spokesman for the Emergency Organization of Iran, said that between November 15 and 8 (November 6 to 8), four people were killed and 11 injured during the weather events, strong winds, rain and snow, and finally floods in some parts of the country.
The spokesman for the Iranian emergency organization added: "During this period of time, incidents such as falling trees, gas, accidents, blocking roads, collapsing facades of buildings, falling electricity poles, damage to cars and temporary interruptions of water, electricity and telephone occurred in some parts of the country."
Also referring to the casualties and damage caused by lightning in the country, he said: "Two people died in Khuzestan province due to lightning, and 11 others were injured in Koh Ghilovah and Boyar Ahmed, Khuzestan and Bushehr provinces." He also added to Shagari that in the same period of time 21 people were killed and 534 people were injured due to road accidents throughout the country.
The spokesman for the emergency organization in the country also mentioned the incidents related to carbon monoxide poisoning and said that 50 people were injured as a result of these incidents, but "there were no deaths as a result of gas inhalation in these two days."
He also informed about the damage to the hospital's infrastructure in Bahahan following the recent heavy rains and said that necessary measures are being taken to repair it.
