Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's special envoy, announced the new round of trilateral negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi, mediated by Washington. On Monday, November 2, he wrote on the X social network that representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the United States will meet on November 10 and 11 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. According to Reuters, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to hold a new round of trilateral negotiations after meeting with Steve Witkoff on October 21 in St. Petersburg.

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, also confirmed on Tuesday, November 3, that tripartite negotiations will take place in Abu Dhabi. According to him, Vladimir Medinsky, Putin's aide, will head Moscow's negotiating team.
