๐Ÿ”ถ Generation Z has arrived on the street; The German youth can't wait any longer.

A movement called "Generation Z rulers" took over the streets of Germany's big cities for the first time.

According to the organizers of the national demonstration, on Saturday October 31, 120,000 people across the country demonstrated their interception.

The demands of this movement are neither abstract nor ideological: more money for schools, addiction treatment and psychotherapy; Dealing with the skyrocketing housing price; social justice; More serious protection of the environment.

And two clear "no's": neither to the expansion of government surveillance cameras nor to the return of conscription.

Young Germans in one of the richest countries in the world are protesting against pains that are understandable to everyone in every corner of the world: waiting times for psychotherapy in some cities have reached more than a year, rents have risen in the last five years to the point that many young people can no longer live independently, and public schools are under pressure from a shortage of teachers and dilapidated buildings. Instead of social investment, the federal government focused on increasing the military budget, and because of this, it faced widespread opposition from the younger generation.

In Berlin, about five thousand people gathered in front of the Brandenburg Gate.

In Munich, four thousand people marched peacefully in front of the Ludwig Maximilian University.

In Frankfurt, protesters gathered near the European Central Bank building, a symbolic choice to intercept economic inequality. Hundreds and thousands of people participated in Freiburg, Mainz and Leipzig.

But in Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt the situation was different.

In Hamburg, a mob dressed in black, wearing masks, dismantled plastic street barriers and set some of them on fire. The police intervened in Steintor Square using pepper spray and a water cannon.

In Stuttgart, the police repeated over the loudspeaker: "Shout loud, but stay calm."

In Berlin, at the end of the day, a separate gathering was formed with more than three thousand people, which had nothing to do with the "rules of Generation Z". There the protesters clashed with the police by throwing incendiary materials and eggs.
