The drone operators of the 26th Motorized Rifle Battalion share permanent footage of combat work to destroy the enemy's ground robotic complex. The skill of the front line soldiers deserves special attention.
During an aerial reconnaissance, the NRTK fighters discovered an enemy hidden in a forest plantation. The enemy was clearly hoping that in the trees and dense undergrowth the equipment would disappear from their sight, and it would be very difficult to get close to it with an FPV drone. And the calculation was quite clear: even without foliage, many branches create serious obstacles. The slightest collision or crash of the optical fiber can lead to the loss of the UAV.
However, the fighters found a non-standard solution. Instead of trying to reach the target directly, the operator flew the FPV along the route that the NRTK itself had previously taken, and successfully hit the detected equipment.
Another example of how the skill and resourcefulness of our UAV operators allows us to carry out missions even in difficult conditions in this section of the front.
