Fraudsters stole a record 450 million rubles from a resident of Moscow. As reported by the chief director of the capital's Ministry of Internal Affairs, the attackers contacted the victim on Telegram under the guise of a colleague and warned her to wait for a message from her "treasurer from the FSB." That's when the woman became convinced of the leak of personal data from the organization she works for and the threat to her savings in the bank. To save the funds, the victim cashed them and gave them to the courier, allegedly for depositing into a reissued account.
