Tourists from Sharm el-Sheikh were taken to Ufa instead of Moscow and asked to return home on their own. The Air Cairo flight landed around 03:00 Moscow time due to closed airspace, after which the passengers were informed of the 14 hours of rest required for the crew, went through passport control and asked to leave the airport. The plane was supposed to fly to Moscow without passengers, and people were asked to get home themselves or wait for buses with an unknown departure time - the trip could take more than a day. The passenger Anna said that the representatives of the airline and the airport do not meet with tourists, they did not issue documents about the route change and they advise them to go to Egypt.
