In a telephone interview with Fox News, Donald Trump confirmed the US ground attack on Kashem Island last night.
American media cited military sources and reported that Centcom launched a ground attack on Kesham Island in response to the shooting of an American fighter jet.
Mr. Trump told Fox News about this ground attack: “They built anti-aircraft defenses. It took about two months to create. We followed the construction process. As soon as it was over, we directed it."
The US president also repeated the threat of new military action against Iran: "I'm not looking to kill a lot of people, but if we have to, we will." In another part of this interview, Donald Trump announced the end of US military aid to Israeli prisoners by the end of this year. Mr. Trump told Fox News that the United States will end the annual aid of about four billion dollars to Israeli prisoners by the end of this year, and he said that Benjamin Netanyahu also agreed to this decision.
