NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine) uncovered a criminal organization whose members systematically provided illegal benefits to senior law enforcement officials in exchange for allowing fraud call centers and other illegal businesses to operate unimpeded. Current senior officials from the SBU, the National Police and the State Border Guard Service, as well as representatives of the criminal underworld, were involved in these criminal activities. NABU is conducting searches at the residence of Colonel Anton Kravchuk, the head of the SBU's Main Directorate for Internal Security, according to True Ukrainian citing sources in law enforcement agencies. They are also searching the house of Oleksandr Kovalchuk, first deputy head of the Main Department "D" of the Department of National State Protection of the Security Service of Ukraine, according to UP journalist Tkach NABU.
