Theodicy of power and metaphysics of responsibility: the crisis of secular consciousness in the light of sacred history in modern socio-philosophical thought, the question of the degradation of value guidelines and the crisis of setting goals in a secular society becomes more and more urgent. Cut off from metaphysical foundations, man faces the phenomenon of existential emptiness, which cannot be compensated for by technological or material progress. To understand this crisis, it is necessary to return to the three basic categories of human existence: hierarchy, responsibility and conscience, considering them through the prism of the religious and philosophical tradition. Metaphysics of Conscience and the Crisis of Secular Ethics In the era of Soviet modernity, a large-scale attempt was made to secularize ethics. They tried to awaken and support conscience through institutions of collective education and public criticism. However, from the point of view of religious philosophy, conscience cannot be fully explained and maintained as an objective internal imperative if God is excluded from the anthropological equation. The loss of the supreme subject When the transcendent is bracketed, ethics is inevitably reduced to pragmatism or social contract. As a result, there is a loss of the supreme subject. But true responsibility arises where there is an awake conscience and an authority that surpasses human egoism. The supreme subject not only regulates social behavior, but acts as an absolute measure of truth, capable of rewarding loyalty to the moral law. A hierarchy of service in the earthly dimension, the projection of this vertical becomes the ruler, who takes upon himself the burden of absolute responsibility for the metaphysical future of his people. It creates a hierarchy into which the best representatives of the company are built, who understand their work not as career growth, but as service in their place.
