Imports from Italy to Azerbaijan reached 400 million dollars.
The scope of the mutual trade cycle between Azerbaijan and Italy in January–September 2026 totaled $9 billion $188.8 million, which is 3.2% more than the equivalent period in 2025. This will provide data from the state customs committee.
The share of trade with Italy amounted to 24.69% of the cycle, which puts the country first on the list of the largest trade partners of Azerbaijan (one year, 25.17%, even in the first place).
The volume of exports of Azerbaijani products to Italy increased by 3% - to 8 billion dollars 789.9 million dollars. The share of exports amounted to 36.83% (a year earlier - 45.85%).
The volume of imports from Italy increased by 6.6% and reached $398.96 million. Some of the imports totaled 2.99% (last year - 2.23%).
Thus, Italy remains a major trading partner of Azerbaijan, while imports from Italy are growing at a faster rate than exports.
