In Krasnoyarsk, doctors saved a foreign medical student from a stroke.
An ordinary morning for a student of Krasnoyarsk Medical University ended in intensive care. The young man woke up with severe weakness in his right arm and leg and called an ambulance. He was taken to the hospital around seven o'clock in the morning on October 31.
At the Krasnoyarsk Regional Hospital, doctors examined the patient and found an ischemic stroke. Due to the language barrier, it was not easy to gather information about his condition at first, so a friend who was helping the student acted as an interpreter.
The young man was transferred to intensive care, and after his condition stabilized, he was sent to the neurology department the very next day. He is now recovering.
