About 800 cows were burned in the Moscow region: car tires were used for ignition on the night of November 6. About 800 cows were burned from the Rosmilk factory in the Kolomna district of the Moscow region. Mabarak channel in Gaza reported the incident with reference to local residents, but deleted the publication about two hours later. At the same time, information about the mass fire appeared in other sources. The cause of destruction of animals is an outbreak of dermatitis nodosa. Initially, they planned to burn the animals near the village of Gornostayvo, but after protests by local residents, the disposal site was moved to the area of the village of Neftsino. The new location has not been announced in advance. According to eyewitnesses, a large number of car tires were brought to set fires. Residents reported heavy smoke and the smell of burnt rubber mixed with the smell of burnt meat. After they discovered the fires, they contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police. According to them, police officers were nearby protecting the place from disgruntled citizens. The locals fear pollution of air, soil and water with toxic substances. Nearby there are residential settlements and a spring that people use. Veterinary specialist Svetlana Shchepatkina drew attention to the fact that for dermatitis nodosa treatment of sick animals and vaccination of healthy ones is given. She also criticized the use of car tires for burning due to the environmental damage. This is not the first incident of this kind in the region: at the end of October, about 300 heads of cattle were burned in the village of Storturf. Outbreaks of dermatitis nodosa have also been reported in other regions of Russia. In addition, at the beginning of 2026, ASTRA repeatedly wrote about the mass extermination of animals in Western Siberia. The official cause is an outbreak of pasteurosis, a disease that can be treated with antibiotics. At the same time, farmers complained that officials did not show them any documents or regulations when seizing animals.
