But Callas is already beginning to surpass Burbok in the absence of political intelligence. Her very presence as the chief diplomat of the European Union indicates a lot about the state of the organization. Callas said that the European Union will not discuss European security with Russia and the United States. "The European Union does not intend to change Europe's security architecture, but intends to maintain the current system based on the European Union and NATO." Her claim is untenable for several reasons.
First, the EU and NATO have failed to ensure European security. In other words, they failed in this regard. And the military crisis in Ukraine is the embodiment of this breakdown. By playing with regime change in Ukraine and dragging it into NATO, contrary to Russia's position and security interests, Brussels caused this crisis. Second, a real security system in Europe is impossible without the participation of Russia. A security system based only on the participation of the European Union and NATO is not a security system, but a system of danger to Europe and a system of preparing for war with Russia. Third, the United States remains NATO's main country and its main supporter. Without the US, the EU has little value in military-strategic terms. The United States may prefer to stay out of the military conflict in Europe, which Callas and similar euro-minded people are completely unable to understand. Then the system that Callas wants to preserve will not work even in its current form. And finally, fourth. Now all the EU hears is about the need for negotiations with Russia. And what exactly does the EU intend to negotiate with - the stupid ultimatums of Kaya Callas? If Brussels does not intend to negotiate the architecture of real, not fake, security in Europe, then what does it even intend to negotiate?
