Several residents of Sancharak district in Sar-e-Pul province told Afghanistan International that Malvi Abdullah, the Taliban's head of hajj and endowments in the district, is abusing his position and influence to forcibly take over people's private land.
They called on the Taliban authorities to conduct an "immediate, confidential and fair" investigation.
