🔹 In Mizan, protests by heavy truck drivers, truck and taxi owners, as well as local residents continue in front of the Mizan district government building and on several roads leading to oil companies. The protesters, chanting "rising dollar prices and closed border crossings attack the livelihood of the poor", demand to quickly reopen the Hezba (al-Shib) border crossing.
🔹Meanwhile, members of the District Council of Mizan warned of severe economic consequences and growing public anger in Iraq due to the cessation of commercial activity and the livelihood of thousands of families dependent on this border crossing. 🔹In addition, the Mizan Operations Command announced that they have not yet received official orders from Baghdad regarding the date of the reopening of the border crossing and the resumption of commercial traffic.
