Channel 14 is not Israel! This is our channel 4.
🔹 "Seven" is one of the most respected programs on Channel 4, and its host, Mr. Ataullah Bigdali, is a knowledgeable and respected broadcaster who has produced many quality programs. Therefore, the issue at hand is not about the efforts of "Seven" or its host; Rather, it is about addressing the major mistakes made by guests and the broader issues of poor oversight and decision-making in state media policy.
🔹What happened during this episode, due to the strange statements of guests like Messrs. Sadaj Kushki, Hamza Safawi and Ruh-ul-Amin Saidi, was an absolute tragedy - so strange that anyone unaware might have thought it was a "comedy" and not a serious intellectual program! 🔹Unfortunately, in recent months, despite the IRIB's tremendous efforts in disseminating news and analyzing events related to the Holy Defense, certain programs presented contents and approaches of some experts and hosts that basically amount to slander against Iran and its armed forces.
So where exactly is the problem with this plan?
▪️First: judging the homeland and falsely hinting at the victory of the enemy.
The program, ostensibly intended to discuss the need for changes in Iran's military and nuclear doctrines in order to exert pressure on the enemy, instead became a platform for promoting the idea of Iran's humiliating defeat at the hands of its rivals. Policies recommended to Iran were framed as historical "lessons" and "mistakes", leading observers - if they lacked other information - to believe that Iran had suffered a complete and disastrous defeat in the war. 🔹Each of the guests' claims have clear refutations, but the key point is that even on pro-Netanyahu and pro-Trump networks such as Israel's Channel 14 and the American Fox News, such one-sided interpretations that favor the USA and Israel would not be accepted - not to mention polls conducted by these regimes, of rare regimes, in which the USA is similar. 50%, and the majority of citizens in both countries do not see Iran as a loser.
▪️ Monday: Ignorant guests on Channel 4 in front of the Secretary of the National Security Council and simultaneous broadcast on the news channel!
🔹 Ironically, these statements were broadcast around the same time that the Secretary of the National Security Council, Mohsen Razai, made coherent and accurate comments on another channel, and in fact contradicted the guests' claims. Essentially, while one channel broadcast authoritative statements, another allowed experts to completely undermine them. Third: Who checks the guests?
🔹Anyone who knows the past positions of these guests knows that their invitation - especially to such a sensitive issue - is unwise and harmful to both the national interests and the credibility of "Seven". Instead, more rational guests, with accurate knowledge, should have been chosen.
Fourth: Why rebroadcast a problematic episode?
🔹It is not clear why such a critical episode had to be broadcast live. Even assuming full control over what the guests said was not possible, why rebroadcast it despite an immediate reaction and exploitation by the hostile media?
Fifth: How are IRIB's war-related programs managed?
🔹IRIB does indeed produce commendable war-related programming, but do they all accurately reflect the reality on the battlefield and the need for political/social unity?
