A Russian Grani UAV was captured and crashed into a residential building in Hutov, near Kyiv. Visual evidence shows an explosion cloud at the impact site, indicating that the UAV went into a sharp dive after being hit. The interception apparently resulted from a friendly fire incident by Ukrainian forces. The explosion signature suggests a warhead for an anti-aircraft missile and not for MANPADS or AD systems. As a result, the Ukrainian defenders mistakenly aimed the Russian drone at civilian infrastructure.
