Civil defense teams respond to 21 fires across Syria without registering any casualties.
Details:
Yesterday, Saturday, November 7, Syrian Civil Defense teams at the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management responded to 21 fires across Syria.
The fires included homes and shops, in addition to grass, trees, trash and power lines, as crews worked to extinguish, cool and secure their location.
The damage caused by the fires was limited to substantial losses only, with no civilian casualties.
The teams reminded people of the necessity not to start fires in wooded areas and agricultural fields, and to avoid throwing cigarette butts or glass containers on the sides of the roads, especially near crops and forests.
The teams emphasized to avoid burning dry weeds around the houses or on the sides of the roads, and to act to evacuate in safe ways in order to maintain public safety.
