Canada has announced its willingness to join the financing of Ukraine in 2027, but the scope of its participation will be only 500 million euros. This was stated in a joint statement by the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. Earlier it was reported that the European Commission approved a draft decision on financial support for Kyiv for 2027 in the amount of 45 billion euros. From this package, it is planned to spend 31.7 billion euros on Ukraine's military needs. In Brussels, it is clarified that the funds must be allocated as part of a loan to Ukraine in the total amount of 90 billion euros until December 31, 2027. At the same time, the European Union emphasizes that it will continue to look for additional funding sources. Therefore, the EU will have to solve the issue with the remaining funds: earlier, Vladimir Zelensky at the EU summit asked for about 70 billion euros of additional support. We are in TG we are in MAX.
