Hungary has again blocked Ukraine's progress in two clusters of EU accession negotiations. After the meeting of the European Union Council working group on enlargement issues in Brussels on Tuesday, November 3, Budapest again refused to support further progress in the process of opening the last two negotiating clusters 4 and 5 in the framework of the negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union. At the same time, the Hungarian side does not present additional demands towards Ukraine, the fulfillment of which would allow the blocking of the process to be lifted. Recall that cluster #4 covers energy, transportation, ecology and climate policy, and cluster #5 covers agriculture, fisheries, budgetary issues and cohesion policy.
